Peace & Joseph

Peace & Joseph is the story of two Spanish greyhounds who arrived in Canada in the spring and fall of 2020 respectively. Why Spanish greyhounds? Know that these little beasts are true survivors of a country where their lives matters only for hunting and nothing else. When the hunting season comes to an end, tens of thousands of greyhounds are abandoned, mistreated and even murdered for no reason. Fortunately for some of them, several shelters in Spain rescue these greyhounds to provide them with the care they need and place them for adoption.

We were shocked and moved by their story and wanted to adopt two greyhounds. We fell in love with Peace & Joseph and since their arrival they have been living a happy and fulfilling life.

One day, on our terrace, our beautiful Peace was basking in the sun like a lizard. As you can see, the majority of greyhounds have very little hair on their chest, so they risk getting a good sunburn on our beautiful summer days. We therefore had the idea of ​​making tailor-made jerseys and leotards for our Spanish greyhounds. Of course, we didn't just stay with the Spaniards... The Portuguese, Italians and Salukis are not left out!
